My background in sports management...

I have managed a diverse staff of marketing and communications professionals in the country's most dynamic professional sports league, the NBA.  Working for the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx, I have negotiated broadcast rights, overhauled departments and developed cutting edge marketing strategies -all of which have delivered results.

A glimpse of my public affairs experience . . .

I have developed and executed legislative and grassroots strategies on a wide variety of issues for clients that range from Fortune 100 companies to small non-profit organizations.  I have successfully advocated for programs at the local, state and national level by building strong professional relationships, by developing creative legislative strategies and through my knowledge of the legislative process.

About my political and government background . . .

Early successes in my career granted me the opportunity to work at many different levels of politics and government giving me a unique perspective of government relations and public affairs.  My diverse background at both state and federal levels gives me working knowledge of both policymaking and regulatory issues as well a solid network of contacts.

And my communications skills . . .

Having worked at public relations firms, I supported clients with a wide range of communications materials and have been responsible for new business development for the agency.   I have won national awards for creative communications strategies and tactics that delivered results for my clients.
